A Ritual Sacrifice are usually young women who were taken from villages of Yoana and delivered to the current king of Ozmargo as a tradition of the peace treaty agreement between beasts and humans.

As sacrificial maidens, they wear simple peasant attire and were forbidden to any footwear. When their time to be feasted on by Leonhart arrives, they change into white gowns and gold double hairbands with flowing veils on their heads that resemble bridal wedding gowns on the Night of Revelation.
Unfortunately even after fleeing from the castle to avoid death, they were unable to return back to their former lives and were helped by Ocelot and others of the Maskviana Exorcistic Order to get them new identities and lives.

- Male humans are considered to be tasting too gamey for beasts, even young boys. Hence why none of the men were chosen as sacrifices.
