Chapter 1 is the first chapter of Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts manga series.
Summary[]
Sariphi is the 99th sacrifice to the terrifying, monstrous beast king and learns two very important secrets about the him. First, that he has been letting his sacrifices go in secret and second: that half of his blood is of a human. She learns of the kings sorrow and kindness and suddenly announced as the king's queen! Follow Sariphi and her romantic and exciting endeavours to adjusting to her now hectic and interesting life as queen.
Plot[]
Anubis presents the 99th Sacrifice to the king. The king then asks the Sacrifice to show her face which she does. Anubis says that the sacrifice won't make much of a meal and that they should quarter her and put her on display, which the sacrifice says that its rude and calls him a dog. Anubis then asks her if she didn't just refer to him as a dog. After the king tells Anubis to take his leave.
The Sacrifice says that he shouldn't do that as he'll end up all alone, the king then walks to her and says that no human has failed to cry at the sight of him, she then says that his paws are so soft much to the terror of Cy & Clops. Then the Sacrifice tells him to just eat her and be done with it, the king then asks her name which she says its Sariphi.
