Beasts and a Human Town (魔族と人間の町, Mazoku to Ningen no Machi) is the third episode of the Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts anime series.
Summary[]
Sariphi begs Leonhart for a day out on the town. They slip out of the palace incognito to meet the common people of the beast realm, but unexpected dangers lie in wait.
Plot[]
Anubis teaches Sariphi a lessons about Ozmargo, Sariphi is forgetting which part he was teaching her then Anubis asks her if she is listening and then scolds her and she asks what part they were reading. Clops & Cy returns telling Sariphi that they have translated some books to human language to which Sariphi is grateful for.
Later, Sariphi asks Leonhart if they can go to the town of Ozmargo, wanting to see the commoner beasts' lifestyle. He is reluctant at first but agrees if she wears a disguise.
Leonhart then explains that he sent Anubis to a neighboring city and that they must return before him, or else Leonhart will be forced to listen to Anubis's "moralizing" or in other words nagging.
After Sariphi catches Bolas before he falls her disguise is revealed and she gets thrown stuff at her by beastkinds at the town but Leonhart comes to her rescue using his magic and teleport them to another place nearby. Leonhart says that its time that they should return back to the castle to which Sariphi agrees to.
Anubis tells Leonhart that he heard that a human was seen in the town.
After Sariphi hugs Leonhart and tells him that she had fun when they where out in town she suddenly faints. Where it is then that she has been suffering of Miasma poisoning. Leonhart swears that he will save her.
Sariphi then wakes up confused as to why the sky is blue. She then sees an elderly lady, who greets her.
After the town doctor's wife tells her that there's rumours about her being a runaway sacrifice and that the king of beasts would come terror the town to find her, she tells Sariphi to go somewhere else. Sariphi is then walking towards a forest nearby the town. After getting a flashback of what the town doctor's wife told her she then thinks of whatever happens to her that the king of beasts would be there for her which she then starts to tear up saying that she won't be alright.
Suddenly Sariphi takes a wrong step and she almost falls off the cliff but suddenly an arm reaches out and catches her which turns out to be Leonhart. He says that he's been looking for her much to her confusion, he then hugs her. Sariphi asks him what he's doing here and that he is in his human form, Leonhart then tells Sariphi because Yoana is free of Miasma that ended up with him losing his Beastly form and that made it harder to track her, Sariphi tells Leonhart that she thought he left her behind which Leonhart denies. After Leonhart tells her he left her a letter Sariphi tells him that she doesn't know beast language yet. Sariphi then asks Leonhart what it said in the letter to which Leonhart says that he would come back for her, Leonhart then gives Sariphi a ring containing Ambrosia, Sariphi asks Leonhart if she can stay by his side and Leonhart reassures her that she is his queen..
The next day after they return to the castle, Sariphi asks Leonhart if he knows what the ring on the left hand means to which he doesn't.

Anime and Manga Differences[]
- In the manga, the person selling bread was a random reptilian character. In the anime, it was Rog and his family.
- In the manga, Bolas's leg was injured and Sariphi patched him up. It was cut from the anime for time constraints.
- In the manga, the woman who was taking care of Sariphi explains everything when she woke up. In the anime, half of her lines were given to her husband.
- In the anime, after Sariphi was trying not to think of Leonhart, she asks the woman if there is any errands she needs her to do, followed by a montage of her going around town. This isn't show in the manga.
