Amit (アミト, Amitto) is one of the main characters of the anime Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts and Manga series.
Amit is the sixth princess of Murga and the daughter of Caiman the Eleventh, King of Murga, who is specially installed in the palace as Sariphi's lady-in-waiting after being exiled from her own kingdom.
Appearance[]
Amit's full appearance in the anime.
Amit is a crocodile-like beast with pastel green skin and ruby red eyes. She wears a white sleeveless gown with a V-neck collar and a burgundy pannier-like/tulip-shaped overskirt with a tan brown sash and a oval-shaped lemon yellow charm, a gold headdress with a long white flowing veil on her head, a gold high-neck choker around her neck, a red amulet that rests on her sternum, and two thick gold bracelets on her arms.
By the end of the series, Amit's overskirt is now leaning sideways to the right, her sash is now reddish-brown, and she wears a pale pink shawl around her shoulders.
Personality[]
Amit is sweet, kind, shy, and very supportive for loved ones and friends. She can be categorized as the motherly figure in the Maidens of love or just the simple friend group of Sariphi and Tetra along with Clops & Cy.
Amit becomes a blushing mess and loss of words along, with stuttering, whenever she sees, hears, gets touched or talks to Jormungand. Amit is also a very skilled baker/cook as she is a master of culinary arts and usually bakes various sweets and pastries for her circle of friends to snack on; Sariphi, Tetra, Clops & Cy, and later Lanteveldt.
History[]
Early Life[]
Amit is the sixth princess of Murga and the youngest daughter of Caiman the Eleventh, King of Murga.
Amit also has been in love with the captain of the royal guard, Jormungand, ever since he noticed her amongst the crowd and other princesses gathering around to see His Majesty when he gave her his scarf after she accidentally cut herself.
Plot[]
When she accidently spills her drink on herself, Sariphi came and asked if she was alright and then they went outside to talk.
After Sariphi gave her the dress that she had on after hers was shredded, Amit went to talk to Jormungand and gave the scarf back to him.
When Vivian prepares to attack Sariphi, Amit comes to her rescue and tries to restrain her, but gets shoved against the wall.
She was specially installed at the palace as Lady Sariphi’s Companion as a reward for protecting Sariphi from Lady Vivian.[1]
Epilogue[]
A decade later, Amit is seen alongside with Jormungand watching Richard running in circles with Clops & Cy are chasing after him, gleefully complimenting Richard's lively personality.

Trivia[]
- Amit originally appeared in a one-shot story called "The Demon's Tail", her scary face and kindhearted haven't changed the story.
- In author's notes, Yū Tomofuji's editor's suggestion, she added her maidenly sense of romance, which transformed her, into the adorable heroine she is now. She thinks Amit is the most romantically inclined character that, she have ever drawn. She is also somehow taller than Anubis.
- In Volume 4, Amit is about 18 in human years and her height is 190cm (6'2") tall. Her hobbies are cooking and sewing, she likes anything cute and dislikes anything scary.
- Amit has a crush on the captain of the royal guard, Jormungand.
- Amit frequently clasps her hands together or clutches her face at times whether she's anxious or joyous.
