A Royal Letter and a Taboo Witch (親書と禁忌の魔女, Shinsho to Kinki no Majo) is the twentieth episode of the Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts anime series.
Summary[]
Sariphi ventures into the human realm bearing a message of peace. But even convincing her fellow humans of her mission proves a challenge. To have any hope of success, she must turn to an eerily familiar woman shunned by society.
Plot[]
In the village of Maskviana, Sariphi is talking to Bennu when a merchant offers her a robe that was worn by Maskvis creator's brother's wife. Before Sariphi can answer, someone from behind then tells him that he will purchase it, revealing three men dressed in royal guard uniforms. The person then says that it would make a fine gift for his majesty. The person who offered the robe denies and leaves, Sariphi then thanks the man.
The man then introduces himself as Ocelot and is the acting commander for the kingdom of Maskviana Exorcistic knights. Ocelot asks Sariphi where she plan to head to and suggests a few places and Sariphi says that she is going to visit the king of Yoana and that she came to deliver a letter from the beast realm much to Ocelot's shock.
She then ends in jail.
Meanwhile, Clops & Cy are on their way to the library while carrying stacks of books when they pass by Anubis, who chides them for taking many books from the library. But as Clops explain, Anubis' eyes caught a teal-green book with a strange brier-like motif on the front cover that Clops' stack has, asking them where they got it. While neither of them recognize it with a rather uncanny design, Clops suddenly remembers that Sariphi bumped into Set the other day, indicating that it must've slipped into Sariphi's hands.

Back in the castle, Set was walking down the castle's dark bowels until he ran into Anubis, who questioned him about his intentions of going somewhere along with the book in his hand. Unfazed, Set then answers that he is entering the Forbidden Library before correctly assuming that Anubis has any suspicion of him, much to Anubis' chagrin.

Anime and Manga Differences[]
- Ocelot introduces himself after he showed Sariphi her guest room in the manga and it is not shown in the anime as he introduces himself after the seller left.
- In the manga, there is a scene where a mob of angry Shidai villagers to attack Anastasia by burning down her house. This scene is not in the anime.
- In the manga, there is a scene where Ocelot forces the mob of Shidai villagers to retreat, and he finally gets to see Anastasia again. This scene was not in the anime.
