A Queen and the Future of the Kingdom (妃と王国の未来, Kisaki to Ōkoku no Mirai) is the twenty-fourth and final episode of the Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts anime series.
Summary[]
Set's spell is broken and Leonhart faces the pretender in his beast form when a final revelation turns the conflict on its head yet again. But even if Sariphi and Leonhart triumph, can they continue to reign?
Plot[]
Set's mother is telling her son that he has royal blood and that he should have stayed beside with the king, she then apologizes for only giving birth to him in that form. Set looks in shock as Leonhart has been transformed back into his beast form, Leonhart then roars. After they land on the ground Sariphi wakes up, Leonhart puts her down and tells her to go some distances away from him, he then heads towards Set to face him.
Set tells him that even if he has turned back into his beast form that it makes no difference and that he already has been unmasked infront of everyone. Set then prepares to throw magic at Leonhart but Leonhart summons a barrier shield. Set continues to strike at Leonhart but Leonhart summons the shield again much to his horror Leonhart is right infront of him. Leonhart then puts his hand on Set's throat and that his warped obsession with species has led the townsfolk and the people of Ozmargo in astray and harmed those he hold dear to him. Leonhart then says that even if he has to relinquish his throne, he will see that Set must pay his for his crimes first and summons his magic.
Lanteveldt comes and calls out to Sariphi but gets suprised when he sees that Set is on the ground, defeated. Galois says that Leonhart's blood is half-human but even so that he commanded such arcane might and no ordinary beast could equal with him. Some guards are wondering if the king is legimate at all. Leonhart tells them that the power a royal should wield is the strength to protect the people who struggles to live in the realm and because Set failed to do it that he has no right to be on the throne.
Sometime later, the day of Sarphi and Leonhart’s royal wedding came at last. Anubis and Jormungand, dressed in their ceremonial wedding attire, are by Leonhart’s side as Anubis informs to him about their second talk with Yoana tomorrow before apologizing for rushing him. Leonhart replies to him that he's aware, knowing that even newlyweds must attend to their duties. As Anubis and Jormungand assure him, Leonhart knew that he can count on them both until one of the staff arrived to inform that Sariphi is now ready for the ceremony. Sariphi then steps out, dressed in her wedding gown as she looks incredibly dazzling as ever before, to Leonhart's awe. Sariphi tells Leonhart that she was happy that she was born and alive to see this day and Leonhart agrees with her, before sharing their first kiss. Leonhart then tells her that it's time before the two proceed to walk towards the citizens of Ozmargo.

A happy ending for all at last.
A decade later, Sariphi and Leonhart have a son named Richard who was named after Leonhart's birth name. Clops & Cy are chasing down Richard, who has been skipping his lesson with Anubis while fearing Anubis's wrath. Richard then gets stuck in a hole, before he transforms into his human form to slide out and continue the chase, much to Clops & Cy's dismay. At the courtyard, Amit and Jormungand watch Richard run around in circles with Amit complimenting Richard's energetic demeanor and Jormungand commenting about Richard's childlike charms, that Leonhart never had in his youth. Just then, Lanteveldt grabs Richard and takes him back to Anubis's lesson, much to Richard's irritation.

Trivia[]
Anime and Manga Differences[]
- The Istan Navy gaurd who helped Amit while she was inside the castle is shown in the anime. In the manga, the Istan Navy guard is Arthur.
- In the manga, Amit is helping Sariphi prepare for the wedding along with Clops, Cy, and Lanteveldt freshening up. This was not seen in the anime.
- After Leonhart told Anubis and Jormungand that he is counting on them both, there was a brief comically awkward moment between Anubis and Jormungand before one of the priests inform them of Sariphi now prepared for in the manga. This was not seen in the anime.
- In the anime, Ilya is happy during the Sariphi's wedding but in the manga, he is jealous.
- This could indicate that Ilya realized Sariphi's feelings for Leonhart and moved on from her.
