Summary[]
Leonhart sets out in pursuit of Ilya and the kidnapped Sariphi. Can he overtake them before they reach human territory? And can Sariphi grapple with the hatred in her old friend's heart?

Back home, Ilya and Misha were sitting down, wondering when their mother would be coming home until their mother unexpectedly showed up, barging in the house as she told them both to come quickly. Once Ilya and Misha were placed in the closet, their mother instructs them both to stay quiet before telling Ilya to look after his sister and closing the doors. Soon after, they heard a ruckus outside followed by their mother screaming in agony and falling onto the floor which terrified them both.
